Idaho Rural Water Association offers training classes for drinking water and wastewater utility operations specialists as well as for other related industry professionals such as utility boards members, elected officials, clerks, and managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for drinking water or wastewater CEUs (Continuing Education Units) by the State of Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses (IBOL).

Whether your preference is diaphragm or peristaltic, learn about operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical feed pumps. Learn how to determine which pump style will work best for your application. how to calculate disinfectant dose, and how to set the controls of your equipment for maximum effectiveness. Preventative maintenance of the distribution system equipment will also be covered. Learn the causes of corrosion and how to prevent its damaging effects as well as how to avoid possible public health emergencies caused by disinfection byproducts. Learn from one of our most experienced trainers the ins and outs of chemical disinfection!
